China Evergrande (the Chinese property development giant) has revealed that the Hong Kong Stock Exchange has decided to delist its shares permanently starting from August 25, thus ending a 16-year journey as a listed company. The company confirmed that it will not seek a review of the decision, noting that it received an official letter from the exchange operator stating that it did not meet any of the requirements to resume trading.
