Vahidi threatens 'devastating blows' if Iran's territory is attacked again
Maj. Gen. Ahmad Vahidi, commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned Wednesday that any new attack on Iran would trigger a devastating response.
“If any further aggression is committed against the soil of Iran, that fire whose promise was previously given and remained confined within the framework of a limited regional war, this time will erupt into flames and transcend every border and domain; you will receive devastating blows that will leave you in abject defeat and consign your ignominy to the annals of history,” Vahidi wrote in a post shared on X.
바히디는 이란 영토가 다시 공격받을 경우
'파괴적인 타격'을 가하겠다고 위협했다.
이란 혁명수비대(IRGC) 사령관 아흐마드 바히디 소장은 수요일, 이란에 대한 새로운 공격은 파괴적인 보복을 불러일으킬 것이라고 경고했다.
"이란 영토에 대한 추가적인 공격이 자행된다면, 이전에는 제한적인 지역 전쟁의 틀 안에 갇혀 있던 그 불길이 이번에는 모든 국경과 영역을 초월하는 화염으로 타오를 것입니다. 당신들은 처참한 패배를 당하고 역사의 기록에 당신들의 치욕을 남기게 될 것입니다."라고 바히디는 X에 공유된 게시물 에서 썼다 .
지난 3월, 이란 국영 언론은 정권이 전 국방부 장관이자 내무부 장관이었던 바히디를 이란 혁명수비대(IRGC)의 신임 사령관으로 임명했다고 보도했다.
