South Korea's Women's Short Track Relay Team Wins Gold
Team overcomes early deficit to secure first short track gold at Milano Cortina Games
South Korea’s short track speedskating gold drought has ended. The women’s short track relay team competing at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics won the gold medal in the women’s 3,000m relay on the 19th (Korean time). This marks South Korea’s first gold in short track at these Games and the second gold overall for the South Korean delegation, following snowboarder Choi Ga-on’s victory in the women’s halfpipe.
