프랑스 명품 브랜드 지방시(Givenchy) 창립자의 후손, 션 태핀 드 지방시(Sean Taffin de Givenchy)가 한국계 연인 정다혜(Dahye Jung) 씨와 지난 8월 파리에서 결혼식을 올렸다. 영국 일간 <데일리 메일> 따르면 이번 결혼식은 프랑스 언론이 ‘올해 사교계 최고의 결혼식(society wedding of the year)’으로 꼽을 만큼 화제를 모았다.

두 사람은 20대 후반 동갑내기로, 2018년 캐나다 몬트리올의 맥길대학교에서 학부 시절 처음 만나 7년간 사랑을 이어왔다. 자원봉사 활동 중 션이 정다혜씨에게 한눈에 반해 교제를 시작한 것으로 전해졌다. 그는 현재 경매사 크리스티의 상업금융 선임 애널리스트로 근무 중이며, 과거 LVMH 그룹에서 인턴으로 일한 경력을 갖고 있다. 신부 정씨는 서울에서 태어나 미국과 캐나다를 오가며 자랐으며 뉴욕 콜럼비아대 MBA를 마친 뒤 션의 삼촌이 운영하는 보석 브랜드 ‘태핀’에서 근무하고 있다.
