Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced on Friday the U.S. military conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a narcotrafficking vessel affiliated with Designated Terrorist Organizations traveling off the coast of Venezuela, killing four men aboard.

No U.S. forces were harmed in the U.S. Southern Command operation, which was ordered by President Donald Trump, according to Hegseth.

전쟁 장관 피트 헤그세스는 금요일에 미국 군대가 베네수엘라 해안을 항해하던 지정 테러 조직과 연계된 마약 밀매 선박에 치명적인 물리 공격을 가해 탑승객 4명을 사망시켰다고 발표했습니다.

헤그세스에 따르면 도널드 트럼프 대통령의 명령에 따른 미국 남부 사령부 작전에서 미군은 피해를 입지 않았다고 한다 .

헤그세스는 X 게시물에 "이 공습은 베네수엘라 해안 바로 앞 공해에서 이루어졌으며, 해당 선박은 상당한 양의 마약을 운반하던 중이었습니다. 마약은 우리 국민을 독살하기 위해 미국으로 향하고 있었습니다 ."라고 적었습니다.
